Timber Shade Screen, Seddon

A timber shade screen, designed around passive solar principles. The slats are spaced evenly and angled to block the high summer sun while letting the lower winter sun through, keeping the living and dining area cooler in summer and warmer during winter. Concealed fixings keep the face of the screen clean and uninterrupted, letting the timber read as a single, refined element.
